We, at RNS SCHOOL OF ARHITECTURE believe that

• The essence of Architectural Education is to train the students to design the Built-environment to be in harmony with the natural environment.

• To be eco-conscious and strive towards maintaining the eco-balance and conservation of energy in all our design endeavours.
• To strive towards the goal of sustainable and inclusive development through use of Cost effective & eco-friendly building technology.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide an educational environment where students can reach their full potential in their chosen discipline and become responsible citizens without compromising in ethics and also provide a scholarly environment where the talents of both, the faculty members and students are nurtured and utilised to create knowledge and technology for the benefit of the society. The idea behind RNSSA is to help students free themselves from the traditional ways of looking at things and instead, constantly question and challenge themselves, society and the world at large. We at RNSSA believe in the paradigm of “Learning by Doing”. Students are encour­aged to learn various aspects of Architecture by interacting with professionals in the field and engaging themselves in putting up pilot projects with the help of the various trades associated with the building industry.

In keeping with the Motto of RNSSA, “Think Globally : act locally”, right from its inception, RNSSA intends to have a healthy interaction with Architecture Schools in the West. The principal has close contacts with Architecture Schools and prominent Architect-academicians in Germany who have been inducted into the Academic Advi­sory body. The students and the faculty would vastly benefit from this collaboration.
